Multi Line

I sent a request to a friend to help her out, her AT&T PREPAID rate renewal date is on the 3rd so she just recently paid hers. My AT&T PREPAID renewal date is the 18th so if she accepts the invite to the mutli line account with me is it going to mess her up?

Re: Multi Line

Hello @WStowe,

Our AT&T PREPAID Multi-Line option is a great way to save money by adding people to your prepaid services! I’m glad to see you are interested in taking advantage of this offer.

When someone joins your multi-line plan, their current services will be prorated as a credit on the owners account. So if they do join your account, their renew date will be changed to yours and you will receive a prorated credit on your cycle.

For more information, please visit our GoPhone Multi-Line discount page! I hope this information helps. If you have any additional questions or concerns, please don’t hesitate to ask. We are eager to help!

Re: Multi Line

I am needing to add my oldest son on my account as well, but the 2 original lines have already been paid for by autodraft so do I need to add money to my account for his phone as well?

Re: Multi Line

Hello @WStowe,

Thanks for responding! I will be glad to share some information

If you add a line to your Multi-Line account past the renew date, it would use its current plan until the renewal date is reached. Make sure to restart the line after adding it to refresh the network connection to the device. Test all the services to ensure they are working after adding it to the account. This article describes how to manage your Multi-Lines using your myAT&T Account.

Let me know if you have any additional questions or concerns!

Re: Multi Line

How do I deactivate this Multi Line if I did it on accident since I'm not planning on putting anybody on with me?
