DSL internet "tech support" improper billing

I cancelled my DSL service over a year ago, but AT&T continued to add on $5.00 monthly in an almost invisible fashion. Why wasn't this charge cancelled when the DSL service was cancelled? Now the tech support people tell me that I cannot recieve any refund. This is nothing more than a blatant ripoff Scam. AT&T has the worst customer support of any company that I have ever dealt with! I
