Hi @deslauriermc!

Great question! As long as the SIM is compatible with the 3G phone that you are attempting to use, you will be fine. If not, you can pick up a SIM card from any retail store. From what is sounds like, you will more than likely need a new SIM.

Thank you!

i've just switched to a 60$/month plan .

by switching , my balance on my account went down to 135 $ which is what i wanted to do

what shoudl i do in order to get the next monthly plan payments to go through my balance . as i've activated autopay , it seems that my credit card will be debited each month for the 60$ plan (55$ on autopay)?

do i still have to put $$ on my account or can i pay the monthly plan through my balance ?

what is the best course of action?

Hello again @deslauriermc,

I appreciate you coming back to the forum so that we can answer some more questions regarding your GoPhone account. Thank you, I can definitely help out.

Since you have set up AutoPay on your account, the amount due every month will automatically withdraw from the credit card you registered. You will not have to keep a balance on your account since you have AutoPay.

If you would like to whittle down your account balance instead, you will need to remove the AutoPay and then re-enable it once the balance is down to an amount you’re comfortable with.

I hope this answers your questions regarding payment on your GoPhone account. It was a pleasure helping out. Have a beautiful holiday season!
