Trouble activating a GoPhone?
I have recently purchased an iphone 5s gophone. The activation instructions indicate that after installing the SIM card, an app should have loaded after a few minutes to guide me through the activation process; this didn't happen so I followed the instructions to go to att.com/goactivate and entered the SIM card number there, after which I got a screen saying "Activation Successful" and giving me my phone number and the last four digits as the password for my account. And yet, my phone is not activated (I tried calling, texting and data), and when I try to log into my account, I get a message saying my number is not a valid gophone subscriber. I don't really know where to go from here.
