Reactivating

I live outside the US and dropped the ball and forgot to add credit to my Go Phone. Is there anyway to reactivate the original number? It's the phone I use when I travel to the US.

Hey @Paulcathey!

I’m sorry to hear about that! How long has your account been inactive for? If your account has been closed for longer than 60 days, then your phone number will not be recoverable I’m afraid.

However, before that time, if you login online and add funds to your account, you should be able to retain it!

I hope that’s useful, enjoy your next visit stateside!

Thanks for the info and for getting back to me. I thought it had been less than 60 days but I'm not sure, when I try to login it says "Error - the account has been disconnected", does that mean I passed 60 days and am out of luck? I'd really like to preserve that number if at all possible as it is what I list as my contact # when traveling. Thanks again.

Hi there @Paulcathey!

I’m very sorry to hear that, it does sound like your account has been terminated and your number recycled.

You will have to reinstate your service with a new SIM card. Here’s a helpful article with more details.

My apologies for the inconvenience, have an excellent day!
