Need to find contract number for my go-phone number

I have had a go-phone for many years and now I want to port this numb er to a new carrier with a data plan.

Carrier requires the AT&T contract number which I could not find in my online account. Where at AT&T could I call and obtain that contract number?

Any help is appreciated.

You mean account number, there are no contracts.  Call 611 and ask ATT.   You need account number and PIN code to port your number.

Yes, I need the account number - thank you for pointing that out for my call
to AT&T. I will call 611 from my phone.

Why is this not available online? *611 wait times can be extremely long.

This seems like an unnecessary obstacle to prevent customers from changing carriers! Highly unethical and predatory.

@78852eaglepass This is a public forum, please remove your personal information. It's a bad idea to post your phone number, unless you like telemarketing calls.

If the phone is disconnected, not sure if there will be a billing number or phone records. Unless it was recently disconnected.
