GoPhone periodically unable to access data service.

“AT&T Free Message: Your attempt to connect to data service was unsuccessful. Please try again later.”

 

Hey Everyone,

 

I saw a thread on this from a year ago that just said AT&T was working on the issue... It's 2016 and I'm having this issue also. I've only been on a gophone for 2 months (previously AT&T rate plan) and my phone never had issues connecting to data before I was on the gophone plan.

 

 

My device is the Lumia 950XL. Restarting the device solves the issue until it happens again (randomly). 

 

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

To better assist you, we’ll need a little more information. Is this issue happening intermittently or is it constant? Do you notice this happening in a specific area or multiple locations?

 

It’s possible you may be experiencing a temporary disconnect from our network. This is common and usually is resolved instantly. You can perform basic troubleshooting by going to our online Troubleshoot & Resolve tool. You will need to select “Internet” under “Select a Service-Related Issue”. You may need to select your device type in the upper left corner.
