GoPhone Activation

I have a question about activating a new GoPhone as a new customer.

When activating a new GoPhone online, what personal information will I be required to provide?

I'm not sure about online but when I activated my phone in store the only information they asked was the usual stuff like name and address.

It's been awhile but I'm fairly certain they didn't ask for my social security.

It's been a while since I last activated a GoPhone SIM, but I'm sure they asked for my name, address, zip code, basically all that simple stuff.

They will NOT ask you for your social security number. No need to worry. 🙂

The only time AT&T asked for my social security number is when a store rep was checking to see if I qualify for a post paid plan.

This reply is probably too late, but I just activated my LG Thrive a few hours ago and the only information required was zip code (presumably for the phone number area code) and email address. When signing up for online account management, home address was also required (although P.O. Box will probably work just as well). Surprisingly, even putting in your name was optional.

Just to clarify, they did not ask for your social security number?
