Go phones and wifi calling
I want to know why wifi calling is not provided for go phone users? Especially when my dad, myself, and my son have been so called "valued customers" of At&t for many years. At&t says that only post and customers have access to wifi calling, well we were post paid customers that were NEVER late paying our bill up until the past year, then my dad decided that it would be cheaper for us to switch over to prepay. Although we are no longer post pay, our refill is automatically taken from my dad's credit card like clockwork every month. Not once have we even went one single hour without minutes on our phones. If we are the "valued customers" that At&t claims that we are, and if At&t really appreciates our loyalty to them for so many years like they say they do, I would think that they would be more willing to accommodate us in our desire to have wifi calling added to our phones

I am so sorry that you are not able to get Wi-Fi calling at this time! I totally understand wanting to have this feature! I will be happy to help!
We do certainly appreciate your long time service with us! The reason why Wi-Fi calling is currently only eligible on post-paid plans, is because HD voice is required for Wi-Fi calling to work. At this time, only post-paid plans hit the HD voice network and it is conflicting with prepaid service. Check out our support article AT&T HD Voice for more specific information!

Prepaid is a value segment. It doesn't include advanced features like VOLTE, video calling, NumberSync, and so forth to differentiate it from postpaid service. Just how it is.
