Go Phone sim , no service...?

Could anyone tell me what will be shown on your display if there is no credit/money on your Go Phone account? Do you still get network signals as usual (but unable to make phone calls etc.) or "no service"...?

The display of the phone will not change, the only time you would know the service is not working is if you try to use data/voice/sms/mms or if someone trys to call you.

Thank you very much! This is what I wanted to know but no one on AT&T's customer service could answer this... sigh.

my phone has minutes but keeps losing service for hours at a time cant figure out what problem is anybdy help me out
