@Wheelz1949 - We can only guess - but, most likely - it was not included in the latest agreements with content providers.
If it is really important to you, tou can get a slingbox & do it.

@Wheelz1949 and to further add to @aviewer's answer - that is not a feature of the U-Verse TV service. Have you seen anything that would lead you to believe that it was a feature? Thanks - and who knows, it may be a feature at some point, but not right now.

I think the reason is, there's no realistic way to send a video signal from your DVR to whatever device you are using to watch U-Verse. I assume the TV channels you can watch on it come from some "master location", so they're not coming directly from your DVR. You can set up recordings with the app because it is sending the signals to the DVR, and not the other way around.
