http://beta.att.yahoo.com/ vs http://att.my.yahoo.com/

Have any of you checked out the new browser. I like the old one better cause there is more info in front of you. Instead the new one makes you click through everything. It also forces certain pages on you. We loose some of the choices we use to have. In sports your only allowed to show 6 teams. I want to see all the scores at once. You cannt have the RSS feeds we use to have. Does anyone know if there is a way to keep the old browser?

leeflea55 - You could try it & let us know.

Seriously, There are people that have U-verse TV & not internet. I believe they do not have access to TV on the net.

I would expect you can see the possibility of viewing the TV but would be rejected if you tried it. Why not find out.

ap070h(AARSHAY)However the option to change back to the old view has been permanently disabled since yesterday.

ap070h(AARSHAY)The new att.net has been launched keeping in mind the latest security features and that have been made necessary by the government.

ap070h(AARSHAY)Due to this reason AT&T & Yahoo have created this new homepage as per the new guidelines.

SO once again, the "government" has interfered with our lives making things more difficult!

I call shenanigans -- the fact we cannot customize our newsfeed has NOTHING to do with security features.

Kudos to Kong57 for finding a way to get the old homepage back. Now hopefully AT&T won't get wise and pull the plug on that too. :smileymad:

Alas, it only lasted 24 hours...now new format overrides no matter what you do.  A disastrous offering to the people who never outgrew picture books

Thank you, thank you cong57!!. Like so many others I HATE THIS NEW BROWSER!! IT TOTALLY SUCKS!! AND WORST, no option to go back to the old one. But now, thanks to cong57, I have my old browser just like the way I had set it up. For those who want their old browser back do what cong 57 suggested - make http://my.yahoo.com your home page.

I can't stand the new format. All my personalized modules, etc that I have had for the past 9 years on the old homepage are now gone and I can't figure out how to get them back. (my news carrier, personalized stocks info, among many others) All they offer on the new page is of little or no interest to me.

Intrestingly enough, the Yahoo home page is similar to the iGoogle feature that Google has just scheduled for the scrap heap.  I wonder why customizable portals are suddenly dieing?
