I have found a really simple fix to using your own router behind the ATT one. If you have Netgear it will be so simple for you. If you have another router, it may be as simple but this video covers just the Netgear. Alot of pages say on the internet that YouTube load times and other large website load times are very slow. If you turn off IPv6 then they will load fast agai...

What do I have to do to get internet to my house? I have been on the notification lost since 2008. I would love to have an explanation and would like to speak to someone at AT&T who cares about the consumer. Also the areas near me have uverse and some even live out farther away from town than I do. As well to the internet if y'all offered it I would get cell phone serv...

Overview Most people don't need advanced features that personally owned routers offer and will be just fine using the NVG589 and turning off their personally owned router. But if you're like me (and I know I am!) then you are probably reading this thread because you have ip cameras, personal clouds, photo servers, guest wifi, VPN's, xbox, QOS settings, et al. I have an AS...

I just upgraded to U-verse Internet Max (12 Mbps download) and tried to verify download speed. AT&T test says wireless download speed is approximately 12 Mbps; Microsoft test says approximately 3 Mbps. Ethernet download speeds show similar disagreement. Why? What is the true speed?

I've read past threads from 2014 and earlier this year saying the 250 GB cap for Uverse internet was not being enforced. I'm about to sign a 1 yr contract for it.Just need an update.

Currently, I have a NVG589. It won't service my kids rooms. I need to add a WAP or WIreless router closer to them. Q: 1. How to configure the NVG589 to work seamlessly with a WAP or WR to extend service. 2. Is there an easier way to accomplish the same thing? I cannot get the Engenius ECB350 Access Point/Bridge I had laying around to work consistently.
