Upgrade to Uverse Speeds (Specifically upload)

I live in a new neighborhood so I have fiber run to my house (I've seen the very thin strand in the outside box). I'm also hearing that ATT will be upgrading the outside boxes very soon to allow for faster speeds.

So my first question is, is there any time frame for this upgrade (Trophy Club, TX)?

My second question is, is the any info on the new speed tiers available? I'm really hoping for significantly faster upload speeds (I'm on 18/1.5Mbps). A lot of cloud services are unusable at 1.5Mbps.

Thanks!

zfwjs,

Hello and thanks for the question. While I don't have exact information for your particular city, I did come across a news release from ATT discussing it's infrastructure upgrade plans over the coming years.

Thank you,
