Wi-Fi & phone does support the signal. So, it requires that you have the right software and equipment.
For wi-fi, use a web based FAX provider.
For phone use a tel modem on your computer.

So the IP Phone is not WiFi capable and I understand Apple dropped the MA034Z/A External V.2 USB Modem Fax support for OS X Mavericks. So how do I Fax from my MacBook Pro on the cheap?
