Are you able to view your recordings from USA to Mexico?
I've been trying to connect and keep
getting error messages. I can see what is recorded but go to play and get error messages. Is this BC I'm

No, you can't view remotely programs recorded on your DVR regardless of where you are located.

Since travel is in your handle -
Get a slingbox or other comperable & connect it to your STB & RG before your next trip.
You will then be able to access(control & view) the STB from a browser anywhere.
A Slingbox app is also available.

See if you can get Uverse online to work down there and can see much of what you have on your DVR.

Regarding Slingbox,
I would recommend putting it on a backup TV that you don't watch a lot. Since it operates as a "pass-through" device, it'll interfere with TV watching if you put it on your main TV. I actually put mine on the DVR and no TV, since my DVR is close to first-generation.
Regarding viewing via web browser:
If you download Hola Unblocker and set it for USA, you may get better results. May. I'm not sure how all that viewing via web browser stuff works.
