Problems logging into e-mail account
I am having problems logging into my AT&T e-mail account using Thunderbird. This has been working in the past but is now giving me intermitent log-in errors. It seems as if the AT&T server at inbound.att.net is often very slow to respond to login attempts and gives timeout errors quite regularly. At other times login works very easily.
Is AT&T having problems keeping this server up and running properly. Is there some other, faster inbound server that I should be using ? I am using SSL/TLS for security and port 995 on the inbound server. Are these still the correct settings ?
I need to be able to reliably login when I am checking my AT&T email, not consistently getting timeout error messages when I do.
