Issue with UVerse and Vonage Phone

Need some guidance on this one..

 

I work out of my home and have a company-issued Vonage phone. Up until 6-8 weeks ago, I had no problems with the phone. One day I noticed that I was unable to make outgoing 10-digit calls on my phone. I could still receive calls and make outgoing 3-digit calls to co-workers via their 3-digit extension. 

 

I've talked to Vonage tech support several times, and they have told me that I should install an additional wireless router just for my Vonage phone. That doesn't sound right to me, but before I take their advice, I was wondering if anyone else experienced a similar problem.

 

On a side note, I can use the Vonage softphone app (and other softphone apps) to make 10-digit outgoing calls through my laptop. Only issue is making those same calls on my Vonage phone.
