transfer contacts from LG A340 to pc

I completely understand wanting to transfer contacts over to a new phone. It’s so important to be able to make sure you are able to keep them whenever you change devices. I would be more than happy to help you in this endeavor.

After some research further into this, it does appear some media files are able to be transferred to a computer via microUSB cable. However I was not able to find if contacts specifically are able to be transferred.

What you will want to do is plug the phone into the computer through the cable in order to connect the two. From here, you will be able to open the phone as a drive. Once open you will want to search for your contacts in the folders which display on the computer screen. If they are able to be found, you will want to drag and drop it to the computer.

If you are not able to move the contacts to your computer, there is also the option of visiting the nearest AT&T store; which can be found with the help of our wonderful Store Locator tool. There they may be able to help get the contacts moved over to your new phone. There is also the option of moving them over manually to your new phone.
