Re: Ringer

You may want to check the music player to see if it can play amplified sound.

What kind of phone is it? Did the ringer work yesterday?

Re: Ringer

It's a Samsung focus.  It rang for a little while yesterday.

No luck with the ringer yet?

Can the caller hear the ringback tone?

Re: Ringer

No, I haven't had any luck yet. Yes the caller can hear the ringback tone. How do I check to see if the music player can play amplified sound?

Re: Ringer

Oops I should not have said amplified sound - implies big speakers, even though all ringtones are amplified through the phone's speaker.

Here's a test you can do. If you can hear ringtones while going through selections, then you know your ringer works but the network ring signal doesn't go through.

You may want to visit an AT&T store or call them.
