If I try to make a call from my home phone to my LG I get a message that the call can't go through at this time and to try later. I've been doing that for about 4 days to no avail. AT&T doesn't seem to be able to help me - can any one out there? No problem with this until I bought the new LG a few days ago.

Have you heard tried our Troubleshoot & Resolve Tool? It’s like having your own personal technical support assistant! Here, choose your device and select Phone Calls under Service/network issues. Answer all the questions as accurately as possible to receive the best resolution.
Resetting your network settings is also a great way of reestablishing your device’s connection. You can do this by going to Settings > Backup & Reset > Reset Network Settings.
