Caller Name ID has stopped working

The AT&T Caller Name ID is an enhanced Caller ID feature. I am sorry to hear it stopped working on your Samsung S7 Edge.

This feature is pre-loaded on this Android phone and all you have to do is launch the app to subscribe for the service. Once you install this application, you will receive a free trial, which will work automatically upon handset activation. After the 10-day free trial, you will receive a notice asking if you would like to continue the service for $2.99 per month.

The options you receive are the following:

1. Yes - Confirms the decision to purchase the feature and service is provisioned with a $2.99 monthly charge.
2. No - Ends the function on the handset and stops notifications offering the service
3. Remind me later – Allows this feature to identify 10 more calls before requiring final decision.

If you initially declined the subscription offer, you can provision the service at any time directly from your phone. Access the Name ID application > select Subscribe > Confirm the purchase.

The salesman may have been referring to the normal Caller ID feature, which is free. Only the enhanced version has a subscription. You can find more information on the normal Caller ID here.

How do I get rid of this unwanted error, this unwanted feature?

I am in Canada, i do not run this app, but a lot of ATT apps seem to run

phone must be American version from Freedom Mobile in Toronto
