why is my data .50-2 mbps

Hello im having an issue with my data in the Bronx NYC. I was on the family share plan and changed my plan to  the enhanced choice but the rep put me on the unlimited choice ( not enhanced)  then when i called back they  put me on the unlimited choice enhanced  but i was constantly getting speeds .50-1.5 mbps. Today i was put on the unlimited plus  plan with no data speed cap and im still getting .50-2 mbps. I was told even with congestion i wouldn't receive any slowdowns like i did on the other unlimited plan

Experiencing slow data speeds is certainly problematic. I am happy to help! I would like to recommend our Troubleshoot & Resolve Tool which is a great resource to use for issues such as this. Simply select the device you are using, and then under Service/network issues, choose Internet. For a more personal experience, please login using your myAT&T credentials.


You can also reset the network settings on your device which will provide a fresh connection to our network. If you would like to provide the device you are using, I will be glad to give you the path to perform this action.

Our Enhanced plans are still subject to network throttling during network congestion or if you exceed 22GB of data.  You can see the details of these plans here
