texting from AT&T to verizon number issues
Im in Jamaica and have been trying to send texts to my mom who has a verizon account. The messages from her to me and me to her keep failing. Is this because of the carriers? The messages sent from my at&t phone to another at&t phone go through.

My apologies for the trouble you’ve been having with texting your mother. Communication is so important these days, especially while you’re traveling!
There should be no special restrictions for texting her phone compared to another AT&T phone. It’s possible that she has a feature restriction to prohibit international texting, though we would not be able to confirm that on this end.
Be sure your dialing pattern is correct, it should be +1 xxx yyy zzzzz for texting a US number.
If you have a free moment, I would also suggest trying out our Troubleshooting Tool for Messaging. This will help control for different common issues that could be interfering with the texting!
