The Smart Limits service has been retired as of November 27, 2018 and has been replaced with AT&T Secure Family. If you have an auto-update with the smart limits service, then you would automatically be enrolled in to the secure family app. If you do not have the auto update, then you will be prompted to sign up to the new feature when you access the FamilyMap App.
Also, you would have to use your user ID to activate the Secure Family and not your existing FamilyMap log in credentials.
