can I whitelist my contacts in AT&T Call Protect app?

Is there a way to have my contacts white-listed by AT&T Call Protect android app (I have a Samsung Galaxy S6) so none of my known contacts are automatically blocked?  Yesterday my wife tried calling me multiple times and it turns out Call Protect had blocked her calls (without my intervention) even though it never did that before.

Hi @Petersil

Thank you for reaching out to us today. We'll be happy to assist you.

If a call is auto-blocked as fraud, adding the caller to your address book does not prevent the call from being blocked. To unblock the caller, you'll need to manually unblock them within the AT&T Call Protect app within the call log. When the call notification displays on your device, tap the notification, to open the app. On the call details screen, you can select Report or Unblock. This article will walk you through the process. If you have any further questions, we'll be delighted to help.

Mistakes with Call Protect and Hiya will happen.  Within setting, your contacts are whitelisted, but the apps aren’t perfect.  My mother was blocked once, but I caught the notice right away, went into the app and unblocked her.

I appreciate the replies but none of them actually address the topic question I asked about.  The question was "can I whitelist my contact list persons" so they are automatically not blocked either by design or by mistake when they call or text me?  I totally understand how the app works and how to block or not block persons who contact me.  In fact, I also installed the Hiya app as it is better at deciphering and blocking advertisers and scammers, and gives you more information about the unknown persons trying to get you to pick up the phone or respond to a text message.
