VoLTE - effect on data usage?

Okay. I am just a 14 year old child. I got an iPhone 6 plus just a few days ago. When I went to settings on my iPhone, I saw a feature that allowed me to use LTE for voice calls. However, I have no idea if it would count against my data usage or my minutes because I don't want to pass my 300 MB limit. If I passed it, my parents would kill me! 😞 So, yeah, can somebody help me out please? Responses appreciated!

VoLTE
won't count against your data.
It only count against your call minutes
You can try and switch the LTE off from your phone.
If you mainly doing calling and texting,
since using LTE for data can using up your data limit very fast.
