What plans do you have so that I may use my I-phone 6 from Ireland and know how much per minute I am being charged, and that I will not be charged for any e-mails?

Another option is to put the phone into airplane mode, then turn on WiFi and check email, surf the web, etc while in your hotel or other public area that provides free WiFi.
