Welcome to our Community Forums! We are happy to see you are reaching out to us in regards to this messaging error you have encountered. These days, to message your friends is such a vital feature! I personally use my text messaging as my main form of communication. Let’s check this out together!
When you try to send a message, is it a standard or MMS message? I would ensure to have all your settings enabled. You can learn how to check this via our Device Support Tool. Select your make and model phone, then click on View all Solutions > Messages > Message Settings. Ensure your message settings are all turned on.
Is the friend you are texting have a different make and model device from yours? If the situation is a iPhone to Android or vice versa, I would recommend to have the iPhone ‘Send as SMS’ setting turned on in the iPhone’s Settings > Messages.
If you are still running into problems, I would highly recommend running your phone through our Troubleshoot & Resolve Tool. Select your make and model phone, then click on Messaging to get started.
