Text from 410-200-500 - accidentally clicked link

I received a text message from the above phone number and when was trying to send it to AT&T to report it as an unwanted text, I accidentally clicked the link and was taken to the website. As quickly as I could, I closed the browser. I know it’s a scam, and now I’m worried I might just have given access to my personal and financial information to a scammer. Do you have to do more then just click the link for them to gain access? Has this happened to anyone? What are some recommendations to keep my info safe?

Hello @Mbox10

Thanks for letting us know.

If you receive a suspicious text message, alert AT&T by forwarding the text to 7726 (SPAM), or learn about other reporting methods.

The AT&T Mobile Security app scans your smartphone and all of your apps for potential malware, including Trojans, worms, spyware or other suspicious software. You can download the app from Google Play Store and the App store.

Please report the suspicious message, and download the AT&T Mobile Security app for an added layer of protection.

AT&T Mobile Security doesn't have anything to do with fraudulent text messages. Reporting fraud text messages just alerts AT&T to the problem so they can investigate and possibly provide solutions. There isn't a way to automatically block spam text messages through AT&T. Search the app store for third-party SMS blockers.

I had the same text from 401200504 and I blocked the number without opening the link. A few hours later I get a similar text from 401200505. I attempted to forward to message to 7726 (SPAM) but they were unable to identify the sender so they told me to contact support. I called the fraud line and the voice box was full for all extensions. How am I suppose to get help from att if none of the resources provided are useful

I have receive message from 410-200-510 , 410-100-010 marked as BankOfAmerica, claiming my account blocked, I did not click and check my account myself, and there is no change. Please help on Mark this as spamming, unless this number does come from BOA
