Tethering and hotspot

You said I can use a hotspot on my prepaid unlimited plan but I can’t so what do I do?

Hello @DMaddox, we'd be happy to help! You can use your mobile device as a hot spot. However, you won't be able to use a stand alone hot spot. For that, you would need a separate plan. Check out this article on AT&T Prepaid Internet for more information.  Thanks for reaching out to us.

Which unlimited plan do you have?   The lower priced one does not permit tethering.
