Saving (Archiving) Text Messages

Is there any way to permanently save, or print a copy of, a text message that has been sent to my phone?

Depends on your phone and it's computer & peripherals connectivity. On my Nokia 6131 I can print to over an IR or BT connection or copy to and archive on the PC. Also, regardless of the phone model you can always forward it to an email address.
