Roaming in Canada

Hi,

Apologies if asked a million times already!

I'm currently on the $2/day plan, and am travelling to Canada this Thursday until Saturday. 

Last time I was there, I could not connect to any data service, is there an additional add on or anything I have to do to get data?

Or is it simply not available at all on my plan?
