Not receiving text messages

I have a Galaxy 8+ and lately I have not received text messages from others. This has been an issue since Sunday, has anyone else experienced the same?

Good Thursday afternoon @Pisces81!

I understand you are having some trouble receiving text messages on your Samsung Galaxy 8+.  We definitely understand the importance of being able to receive text.  Personally I text more then I talk on the phone.  Let me help you get this matter resolved.

Please access the AT&T Troubleshoot & Resolve Tool.  To maximize the effectiveness of this tool we ask you to log in using your myAT&T user ID and password

Once you have successfully signed in, please scroll down to Service/network issues > select Messaging > I can’t send/receive messages (text, picture, or group) > Next > Text > Next > Cannot receive messages > Next and follow the on screen instructions.  The tool will look at device, network, and possible provisioning issues which can be causing this problem and provide the correct resolution.

Thank you for reaching out via the Community Forums, and have an awesome weekend.

This is happening to me also, getting mutiple txts hours after they are sent.

Im losing service all the time, with my phone in the same location that my G6 used to sit, and now my g8 active is having issues.

This is a network issue on both fronts.

Just tonight, i received a response in a group message between 3 ppl, my girlfriend being onw of them. The thrid person responded, i got the txt at 930pm, my girlfriend did not get the same txt until 30 minutes later... shes been sitting next to me all night.

Att needs to step up and fix their issues, or I and many others will walk away afyer so many years with this company

I have the same problem with 3 different phones.  never had this problem with Verizon.  The problem started as soon as I switched to ATT...  S6, S7, Moto G5+

There are hundreds of help threads about this issue.  The ATT reps all give the same stock answer: Run the troubleshoot tool.  Well that tool does nothing to help this issue.  Its not an issues with everyone's phone.  Its an issue with ATT network.
