Let me get right to this for you, with a few options:
The first article is Device Support.
Go to Device Support > Select your device > Scroll down the page > Additional support > Tutorials & videos > Connectivity > Mobile hotspot. These steps will display hot to enable the hotspot on your specified device.
The next is AT&T Troubleshoot & Resolve, which fixes issues with your device. Once you open this tool, select your device, scroll down to the area and choose accordingly. This tool will walk you through correcting any issues with your device.

I’m trying to see why my mobile hotspot don’t work? Since I’ve changed my plan I haven’t been able to even get the hospit going. Every time i try to connect my Roku it NEVER connect a big X comes up
