Hotspot on unlocked Verizon phone not working
Hello,
I recently acquired an unlocked Verizon phone that I've been using on my AT&T account until I can replace my broken phone, and it seems I am no longer able to use my phone as a hotspot as I once was able to before on my Mega, what, if anything, can I do to solve this?

Hot spots are a carrier feature and you will probably not be able to use it.
You can try programming the APN settings to see if that fixes the problem. https://www.att.com/esupport/article.jsp?sid=KB424489
Last try is taking the phone to ATT for help.

Verizon Unlocked on ATT Network -- One of the many troubles.
Try turning on Mobile Hotspot.
Save it, IT WONT WORK.
You have to do something via 3rd party tool (pdanet+ FoxFi) to make it work. The sad part is that pdanet+ and foxfi has a painful installation process (not as simple as going to Google Play) and will set you back by ~8 USD, although its a small price to pay to get mobile hotspot to get working. Each time you need to turn on mobile hotspot in the future, it will be a 2 step process, i.e. initiate pdanet+ to first do its thing, then go to phone settings and turn on Mobile hotspot.
Anyway, it works so who am I to complain after buying a 600 dollar top of the range flagship phone.
