I just switched from an iphone 5 to a galaxy note 4. I cannot receive texts from people who have iphones because it sends as an imessage...and there is no way for them to know that I am not receiving their text. They can hold their finger down and send as a text message, but I want to fix this issue where they can send a text and I will receive it. What is the solution? Thank you.
I’d be happy to help with this messaging issue! All that needs to be done is to deregister your cell number from iMessage, resulting in iPhones sending messages by SMS by default going forward. To do so, check out this page. Simply enter your phone number to send a confirmation code to your device. Enter the confirmation code and submit to deregister.
I hope this helps!
