Hello @Captain1969,

We can definitely assist you with Checking your wireless usage online. You can also monitor your usage and get a data usage breakdown with AT&T AllAccess. Let us know if you have any further questions or concerns.

In your phone settings you should be able to see what amounts of data each app and system process is using.

My data usage kept going up and up even though I am mostly near connected router/wifi. When a software update kept failing, I discovered the "cant authenticate network" message.  Turns out that for almost a month I was using data, not wifi, even though phone was showing as being connected to it.  Well, I unplugged the router and made phone forget network, reentered wep password, which FINALLY connected my phone to my wifi and my phone began its software update. HOWEVER, now I am stuck with a very high bill because of AT&T's failure to create any kind of "there is trouble with the network  connection" message on my phone.  Hey. AT&T. FIX THAT. MAKE A MESSAGE TO PHONE USER THAT WARNS OF WIFI CONNECTION PROBLEM. IS THAT TOO MUCH TO ASK?
