We have had some people notice that when they attempt to check the data usage via the *3282# method rather than get the usage email we get the AT&T Free Message, “This information is not available for your account”. I tried it myself and get the same. I also tried the *646# for voice minutes and it returned Zero of Unlimited.
What has changed because it used to work? Also is there a new method to pull that info from the phone?

We know how important it is to stay on top of your usage. Thank you for bringing this to our attention.
Fortunately we do offer an alternative for monitoring your data. In the myAT&T app, simply select the drop down under My Wireless > Check Usage and you will be provided with an in depth look into your data consumption.

@St204912 It would be much better to track your data in your phone (my opinion). It's live and sometimes AT&T's data is delayed (up to 3 days, longer if roaming).
(If you are tracking everyone else then the text or app is better)
