What to do to connect to wifi on iphone to not use so much data?

when at home and you try to use data, your wifi should show up so that you can connect to it or you can go to your setting, under wifi and connect when the wifi shows there.

Open settings on phone
the second on the list is wifi
open wifi.
it will show available networks. It should show your home wifi, select it.
you should be prompted for a passcode or network key, which you can find on the sticker of your router.

Unless there is a problem, once connected, whenever you get close enough it should connect to your WiFi automagically after that.
