Can't access AT&T Messages online

I found the setting on my Samsung phone to use AT&T back up and sync to send messages online, but when I try to login in with my ID it just redirects me to my main account page. Perhaps there is a setting I haven't turned on? Thanks in advance!

Hello @alex7584,

Let me get right to it.  This will define what AT&T Messages Backup & Sync.  AT&T Messages Backup & Sync is a service integrated into your smartphone messaging app which backs up your text and picture messages in the AT&T cloud and syncs them to your phone. Also: Messages stored in the AT&T cloud can be downloaded to a smartphone which supports Backup & Sync. You can access your messages - and send or receive messages using your mobile number - from your tablet or computer at https://soc.att.com/2JyIrql. How do I use this feature? The first time you use the Messaging app on your smartphone, you’ll be given an opportunity to opt in to use the service. You can also opt in at any time from the Messaging app by going to Settings > AT&T Messages Backup & Sync. Once the service is running, you don’t need to do anything else. Your messages will be backed up in the AT&T cloud and will remain in sync with your smartphone.  How does one access messages backed up in the AT&T Could? You can access your messages - and send or receive messages using your mobile number - two different ways: Log in to the AT&T Messages website at messages.att.net. Download the AT&T Messages Android tablet app. For additional assistance here is a tutorial to assist.

Have a wonderful day!

Same here. I was using the online site all the time, and then a couple of months ago I could no longer log in. I spent a few hours with att tech support over multiple sessions, and got nowhere. Come on tech support, if there is an issue, let's us know. This is a feature I really enjoyed, and I'm very unhappy that is no longer available. Please fix this, thanks!

Another two months and still can't use the ATT Messages online app. The message that is displayed after logging in makes a little more sense, "We're doing some maintenance, please try back later.", it use to say something like "oops, something went wrong...", but it still is not very informative. Saying "We're doing some maintenance" is usually used  when a site has been working and is down for a few hours, this site has not been operational for months. It would be a lot more considerate to put a bit of an explanation like, ATT Messages is down while we are add new features. Please return again over the next few weeks to enjoy the new features. Several of us (your loyal att customers) have been very unhappy about loosing the ability to text from devices other than our phone. We have wasted a lot of time trying to determine why we can't use ATT Messages like we were. We've wasted many hours contacting technical support, researching sites like this one to see if it is something related to our account or the way we are attempting to use the site. Please, please, please keep us informed as to when ATT Messages will be available again. Send out a text to all the people who have ATT Messages accounts. Thanks for your consideration!
