Can I schedule text messages?

It appears that the messaging app used to have the function to schedule text messages to send at a later time. In fact I believe I used it once or twice. Why was it removed? It is an important feature that needs to be added back in with the next update.

The options keeps moving from the + sign next to message box to the 3 dots.  It is back with the 3 dots at top right.

Good afternoon @Mccolson,

Allow us to lend a helping hand. What kind of device do you have? Thank you.

can you do this on the iPhone 11 pro max? I just switched from the Note 8 where I could but I don't see a plus sign or three dots here?

IPhone is a different system. Have no idea if there is the same option.

Hi @Mccolson

You should be able to schedule text messages. In the Samsung SMS app, draft your text message. Tap the “+” button near the text field, or the three dots in the top right corner of the screen to open the calendar. Select the date and time. Tap “Send” to schedule.

Please let us know if this works for you.
