Any way to forward txt msgs?

I am in the USA. Let's say my phone number is +1 555-111-2222. I will be France for several weeks. Upon arrival, I will purchase a local SIM card. So my phone number will become, let's say, +33 1 22 33 44 55.

I use two-factor authentication on a number of websites. To sign in, each site sends a code to my USA phone number. Rather than adjusting the 2FA settings on each site, is there a way that txt messages sent to my USA number can be automatically forwarded to my new French number while I am abroad? Note that I will not know my new French number until I arrive in France.

Thanks.

No, it is not possible to automatically forward text messages. It would need to be done individually from your US number. Presuming you have postpaid service, there is no charge for receiving text messages when in France. You can put your ATT SIM card in when you need to receive a text. Just make sure you leave data roaming off.
