Am I locked in again

I just "uped" my data plan. Does that mean I am locked into another 2 year contract from now? Is that going to be an even bigger charge to leave AT&T?

Asking before you changed seems like it'd be a great idea...

But no, changing your cellular data plan does not lock you into a new contract.

AT&T doesn't normally do contracts any more. You might decide to pay for a phone over two years, but that's not a contract for a plan, it's jut paying off a phone you purchased.

There are no more service contracts.  Changing plans doesn't effect service terms.
