Aim, Yahoo, Msn.

Aim, Yahoo, Msn.

I have a Blackjack 2, I recently just bought it.

I was in the Media Player, and I pressed 'Update Library'

So, my new music showed up and these imq_aim, imq_msn, imq_yahoo files showed up.

They're the receiving tones that the Messengers' use.

I deleted them, not knowing anything would happen.

Now I can't log on.

Is it because I deleted those tone thingies?

If so, how do I add them back? ..

Another thing, does going on any of the instant messenger services count as internet KB/MB or whatever?
o_o; Or is it counted as just text messages.

' Please try again or check your settings. '

I can't help you with your questions about the tones but I AM wondering if you have a messaging or data plan of some sort?

Re: Aim, Yahoo, Msn.

It sounds as if data was blocked on your phone.

Call Customer Service and make sure that they activate MediaNet Pay Per Use on your line.

The preinstalled IM client requires data to login and update buddy lists. Data associated with using the preinstalled IM client is NOT charged.

So if you have medianet blocked on your line, you need to unblock it in order for the preinstalled IM clients to work. Messaging thru the preinstalled AIM client count as TEXT messages, so make sure you have a texting plan.
