Advanced Messaging Major Fail
I have the Galaxy s7 Edge and my wife has the s7 and after the most recent AT&T update, it's been failing majorly. If I have Advanced Messaging enabled on my device and try to send more than 1 MMS to another person, it fails or they don't receive the image.
I have already reset as well as factory reset the phone but the issue is still happening. Again, this is only when Advanced Messaging is enabled. Sending images without it enabled works fine.
Please help!!

Ok, so I just stopped by an AT&T corporate store and spoke with the employees there about the Advanced Messaging problem. Samsung and AT&T are aware of the issue and are working on it. The solution is to turn off Advanced Messaging until the problem is fixed. Your phone will send and receive MMS just like it did before Advanced Messaging was created.

That is exactly what I have done. Turning off Advanced messaging on both my phones has resulted in zero errors over the past three weeks. Although I miss the features associated with advanced messaging, I value reliability above anything else.

Bradilynn from AT&T, Why in the world would you post another standardized answer? I feel like you and your team are not aware of the other posts in this thread. You can't just read the subject line and then paste a generic answer. If your customers are posting that they have physically walked in to an AT&T store but they were unable to get a resolve, don't you think those AT&T employees already went over your generic answer with the customer? You are not only insulting your customers, but you're insulting your employees as well.
AT&T, get your life together. Specifically these major points in no specific order:
-Train your support employees to read the problem before posting.
-Fix the advanced messaging problem. At the minimum, remove the feature until you have resolved the major bugs.
Thank you for reading this post in its entirety.

@musicman5140 I tend to agree with you with the (clearly) needed fix timeline, except that Advanced Messaging allows for messaging over WiFi, which is why I think it's not been disabled, in the interim.
I think the flow is like this:
Do you have a problem with Advanced Messaging?
No: Don't do anything
Yes: Next Question
Do you need it for WiFi texting?
No: Turn it off for now, until it's more stable
Yes: Turn it on, when you need it, and disable when you don't (enable when you're in a WiFi-only location).
Yeah, it's a pain, I 100% agree, but the other answer is having zero messaging in WiFi.

my husband and i are having the exact same problems. We both have galaxy s7 through AT&T. I would say MORE than half of our texts and picture messages do not go through. I wait hours for a reply and send duplicate messages only to find out he never received it! AT&T needs to get it together REAL FAST or we will be switching providers within the next month. Not okay. Unacceptable.

Just got a used (mint) Samsung GS7. Enabled advanced messaging and sent high res photos to my Moto pure edition and the photos came through duplicate, but perfect. And no delay.
