Adding a router to Velocity ZTE wifi LTE access point

Adding a router to ZTE wifi LTE access point

I have the ATT unlimited data wifi plan and the ZTE LTE Velocity wifi access point.  I want to connect a Netgear R4500 router to the ZTE so I can put cameras, PC, etc on the netgear and access the cameras via internet.  How do I do it?

Long story is that I have a motorhome that is stored in an RV storage lot.  I want to install some IP cameras in the motorhome and access them through the ATT ZTE wifi access point.

The velocity does allow port forwarding, though apparently not for static IP addresses....

Hello @Sailorkane

This is Jackie, with AT&T’s Community and Forums Team. Thank you for getting back to me!

Since the Velocity does have port forwarding, you can use it to set up cameras.

Here is where you can find a great way to set up and troubleshoot the port forwarding.

Please let me know if you have any more questions or concerns.

I have a Velocity modem which is our sole source of internet service. Is there a way to add a mesh system to this modem so I can get better internet service in my home? Thanks
