And did not record last night's X-Files. Is this a known problem? Does DirecTV have staff that reviews these forums or do I need to report this to them? The fix was to unplug and plug back in the receiver. Pretty disappointed that this thing has already failed in less than 1 week!

I moved the receiver and cable to another television (...

We have a box connected for Genie Go, I think. When we switch to a new computer do we have to do anything other than just plugging the cables into the new computer?

If I purchase a wireless Genie mini from someplace like Amazon, I understand that I have to register the device with Directv but am I required to pay the $7.00 monthly fee even though its my own device? I was advised by a Directv specialist that I could either pay $99 for the device and wouldn't be required to pay the monthly rental for or option 2 is to pay the $7.00 mon...

My HR21-700 HDDVR locks up when recording a program. I can not fast forward or go back on the screen. When I try to play back the program recorded it starts playing for about 1 minute then totally freezes, the screen goes black and nothing happens. If I try to fast forward the bar on the bottom of the screen advances but nothing happens the screen stays dark and there is ...
