Directv2pc Support for Windows 8.1?

Anyone get Directv2pc running in Windows 8.1?

Support date for Windows 8.1 or is this application legacy after going down the Genie path?

Tried running in various support modes, but no luck. Play back test had lots of red, couldn't even identify my CPU i7-4960X.

Right click on the shortcut for Directv2pc on your desktop.  Click on Properties.  Click on the Compatibility tab.  Check "Run this program in compatibility mode for".  Select Windows 7 in the drop down box.  Check "Reduced color mode" and select 16-bit (65536) color in the drop down box.  Click OK and it should work.  it works for me.

Tried all the compatibility setting and nothing works.

Think it is getting confused with my video cards, running dual GeForce GTX 780Ti with DirectX 11.0.

Thanks for offering up something to try scran53.
