I got direct tv now about a month ago, and my data usage has gone through the roof! I am just watching mainly local channels, have AT&T wifi/internet service, and T-Mobile phone service and have gone over my monthly limit of 1TB with one week left on this month's service!! Is this normal?

Internet download speed can affect your viewing experience. We suggest these internet download speeds for each stream:
Higher quality video settings use more bandwidth than lower quality ones. If your provider caps your bandwidth or data, change your video quality settings to low or medium. Let us know if you have any further questions, we're here to help!

My internet provider caps my data at 1,000 GB per month. To avoid exceeding this limit I'd like to adjust video quality from a high-quality to a moderate-quality setting. Please provide directions for this video quality adjustment. Thanks.

I switched to AT&T Unlimited plan and when coupled with Direct TV Now got a great deal. I use over 1,000 GB each month easily since cutting the cord to cable TV and am still saving money overall. Also when a TV is not in use I put the Fire Stick to sleep to cut down on useage.

I was an early adopter of DTVN since launch. I purchased the GO Big promotion which has been for the most part a good deal barring the early issues. Until recently, the service has been very good. About a month ago our TV while watching DTVN flickers on and off constantly. We had AT&T out to look at the service and they said everything looked fine on their end but ended up changing out the modem as before this cured the issues with our (AT&T 75) internet service. Our internet download and upload speeds vary wildly anymore. They tried blaming it on our "intranet" as we do have our own Apple airport / Airport Extreme and modems to push / amplify the signal as well as privacy and storage. We have not added anything additional to our system since this issue started in the last month. The TV blinks on and off sporadically and seems to match the download / upload signal I read on "Speedtest". Currently, it reads 65 mbps download and 8.44 mbps upload. As I mentioned AT&T replaced the modem, we have AT&T 75 speed internet, digital home phone and stream DTVN through an Apple TV device. My TV does not flicker on and off watching TV on my "mylar" antennae for local TV channels. We have not added anything to to our "system" before this issue started occurring. "Speedtest" varies sometimes as much as 10 - 20 mbps performing one test to the next. Any suggestions would be appreciated as we can't even watch DTVN with the constant flickering on and off.
